About us at Central e-bikes

Central Bikes started life in 2003 as a motorcycle and scooter service centre with the objective of offering fast turn-around repairs, up-front pricing, clear communication and a conveniently located central London store for busy commuters.

A few years later we expanded into new bike sales, as a main retailer for Piaggio, Vespa, Moto Guzzi, KTM, Husqvarna, Royal Enfield and Mutt Motorcycles. We now have two locations in Shepherds Bush and the West End.

In 2020, we decided to continue our dedication to providing incredible service and only stocking the very best brands by expanding into the e-bike market. All our staff are fully-certified Cytech Level 3 bicycle mechanics and our expertise in the motorcycle repairs market allows us to work quickly, efficiently and provide up-front costing with no nasty surprises.

Why not meet the team?

Daniel Rose - Director

Dan started life as a mechanic working in his own workshop, fixing and upgrading bikes for commuters heading into the city. 17-years later, Dan has surrounded himself with a passionate, like-minded team that lives and breathes e-bikes and motorcycles and describes it as his dream job.

“Whether it’s racing my KTM enduro motorbike, riding into the city or training on my Specialized Venge, it’s all bikes, bikes bikes. It’s a way of life for me.”

Patrick Copeland - E-Bike Sales Manager

Originally from Canada, but nowadays you’ll find Patrick bombing around West London on his pink handle barred Aventon single speed. Never too far from a mug of coffee, Patrick is always happy to help you with any questions you might have regarding the two-wheeled world.

Nick Ball - Motorbike & Scooter Sales Manager

Nick loves everything with a motor. Coming from Southampton, Nick first became fascinated with boats at an early age. He could talk your ear off about everything relating to classic cars, e-bikes, motorcycles, and of course boats. It helps that he has an encyclopedic level of knowledge, the depths of which still amaze us, 6 years on.  Any technical questions you may have, Nick is your man. When he’s not busy answering questions Nick enjoys planning his next ride out, trip to Goodwood, or watching Formula 1. If you ever want to butter him up, an early morning sausage roll never goes astray.

Michele D'Isanto - Mechanic

Harking from beautiful Napoli, Mikey loves three things, motorcycles, bicycles and pizza. At age 15, Mikey fell in love with Vespa. A fully trained motorcycle and bicycle mechanic, Mikey can fix anything with two wheels. His daily ride is his trusty Yamaha XJ6 but on sunnier days you will find him on his Trek Domane. When not working or out on the bike you will find him at home renovating his home single-handedly from scratch!

Lily O'Brien - Marketing

A fully qualified motorcycle mechanic, Lily spent her first four years at Central Bikes running the Charlotte Street workshop, but recently changed roles into running marketing and business development.  When I’m not at work you’ll find me hanging out with a bunch of furry friends as I am a volunteer cat care assistant for Cat’s Protection.
